The Village of Hartland Staff is currently in the process of preparing the 2026 Budget. The following is a timeline of important budget events and meetings. All of the meetings listed take place in the Village Board Room located at 210 Cottonwood Avenue. Members of the public are invited to provide comments or ask questions regarding the annual budget prior to final approval. A copy of the budget book will be available for viewing at the Administrative Office at the Village Hall after October 1.
Important Budget Dates:
September 10 and 11 at 6:05 PM – Budget Workshop (presentations from each department to the Village Board)
October 2 – Budget published in the Waukesha Freeman
October 27 at 6:30 PM – Budget Public Hearing
November 10 at 6:30 PM – Possible approval of the 2026 Budget
