Emma is an 8-year-old Hartland 2nd grader who has a rare DIPG brain tumor - that has no known cure. Emma’s father, Geoff Mertens, volunteer coaches for the Lake Country Chiefs Football program and the Lake Country Lacrosse program. Emma’s oldest brother, Carter, plays Lake Country Lacrosse and her older brother, Cameron, plays Lake Country Baseball and Chiefs Football.
