Bark River Explorer Post #530
The Bark River Explorer Post is a joint program comprised of the Village of Merton Fire Department and the Hartland Fire Department.
The Explorer's Post was established in late 2017 with the first post meeting starting in the Fall of 2018. Members of the Post comprise of both current and recently graduated High School students that are interested in a career in the fire service.
As a member of the Explorer Post there are multiple monthly training opportunities as a Post and with the area Fire Departments that run the Post. The Explorers have participated in extrication, search and rescue, ladder and hose movement, CPR and more.
